Description Mares Maximus – Black Coated Dive Knife Mares Maximus Black Dive Knife, gives the classic divers knife a new style and greater flexibility. The Maximus is 230mm long and only 4mm thick. The knife features a blunt tip along with both a serrated and traditional straight blade. Mares design of the Maximus means it can be used as a knife with a straight edge, a knife with a serrated-edge, a line cutter and a screwdriver. The knife is made in 440 stainless steel with a PVD coating to prevent corrosion. This coating gives the Maximus its distinct black finish and also makes it long lasting. The 230 mm long knife, is supplied with a Cordura sheath with belt loops that allows the diver to easily fix it in place.
