DECOMPRESSION BUOY An exclusive Best Divers production. Ideal for use as a buoy to signal that the diver is decompressing. It is a true ‘integrated system’ that is innovative in many respects. Firstly, the elastic net pocket allows the standard reel (15 metres of line) and the attachment carabiner (90 mm stainless steel) to be placed directly next to the buoy itself. This solves the age-old problem of positioning the reel on the diver’s body. The inflation/discharge system also has innovative aspects. The buoy, in fact, can be inflated via the coupling positioned on the exhaust valve tube (either with the mouth or through the jacket whip), but also from the open base (with the help of the regulator). Once inflated, the air cannot escape randomly thanks to the ‘duck-billed’ closure welded to its base. The classic overpressure valve has been replaced by the new, more compact filling/draining tube that integrates the valve itself. By attaching the cap (supplied) to the loading/unloading tube, the buoy can be rewound after use, quickly and easily.
