Description The Volo Race diving fins have a closed, anatomical foot pocket. The soft longitudinal inserts allow controlled deformation of the blade while finning. OPB and Channel Thrust technology. Great performance with minimum effort! The fins have a shovel length that varies from 33.5 to 39.5 cm depending on the size. The fins have a closed and anatomical foot pocket. Soft longitudinal inserts allow controlled deformation of the blade while finning. The channel shape displaces more water, creating more thrust with the same effort. The muscle power is thus transformed into propulsive thrust. The OPB system allows the blade to maintain an optimal angle throughout the finning cycle. Available in sizes 36 to 46, the fins come in three colours: yellow, blue and grey/blue. The main features of the Volo Race diving fins are: Anatomical foot pocket OPB system for easy finning efficiency Channel Thrust technology Material Thermoplastic rubber-Technopolymers Blade length 37 cm / 14.6 in (size 42/43) Blade Thrust Area 680 cm² / 105.4 in² (size 42/43) Weight of single fin 0.7 kg / 1.5 lb (size 42/43) OPB – Optimized Pivoting BladeAllows the blade to maintain an optimal angle throughout the kicking cycle, whereas traditional fins achieve this only during a small portion of the cycle. OPB produces a constant thrust, which minimizes fatigue and produces fluid movement through the water. Channel Thrust Channel ThrustSoft longitudinal inserts allow a controlled deformation of the fin blade while kicking. This channel shape moves a greater amount of water resulting in more thrust for the same effort. Mask, Snorkel and Fin Safety Information: Make sure you have adequate swimming skills and are in good physical condition before diving, snorkelling or freediving. Underwater activity requires training and certification by an internationally recognized training agency. Consult your doctor first if you have health problems, particularly cardiovascular problems. For your safety and greater enjoyment, learn how to use your equipment correctly. Before entering the water, read the following instructions carefully. Rinse exclusively with fresh water after every use and leave to dry in the open air, out of the sunlight. Do not use surfactants, solvents, soaps (not even neutral ones), detergents, alcohol, or hydrocarbons to clean. Keep away from oils and grease, including sun creams and lotions. Do not leave out in the direct sun or near sources of heat for a prolonged time. Store in a cool, dry place and make sure not to twist the product.
