Description Mares AByss Carbon 52X Regulator offers extreme performance while being incredibly lightweight. The unique double DFC system meets all the requirements of air at any depth, including two divers breathing simultaneously. The NaturalConvection Channel (NCC) system increases the performance in cold water. The superior thermal conductivity of carbon reduces the condensation of humidity in the exhaled breath thereby diminishing the dry mouth feeling at the end of the dive. Mares Carbon 52 is perfect for any type of diving. Ideal placement of hoses combined with an extremely soft and light Superflex hose makes it the lightest second stage on the market. Mares Abyss Carbon 52X DIN Regulator Features Balanced Diaphragm Double DFC Ports – Dynamic Flow Control – Minimizes intermediate pressure drop during inhalation thus maximizing gas delivery especially under extreme conditions. Pre-Oriented Ports Available in DIN and International A-Clamp ACT Valve – Advanced Coating Technology – The new valve in the €œX€ systems increases durability by an astounding 600% even under the most extreme conditions. NCC Technology – Natural Convection Channel – Increases cold water performance by creating a flow of water across the regulator. The flow is driven by the change of density in water with temperature. Carbon Second Stage VAD System – Vortex Assisted Design – The air bypass tube delivers air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low pressure area in the center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths. Extremely Lightweight – The Carbon Second Stage weighs only 197gm combined with a DIN 52x First stage the total weight is only 857gm (A-Clamp is still only 1034gm) Carbon technology Superflex Lightweight Hose Superior Thermal Conductivity Mesh Grid – Patented design which reduces the impact of water flow onto the second stage diaphragm thus eliminating free flows even in strong currents. Fluid Dynamic Deflector – Receives and properly directs the airflow from the bypass tube to the mouthpiece.
